Laguna House | Hotel in Garkalne

Laguna House is a hotel in Līči set beside Sunīšu Lake and close to the A4 and A1 highway, with practical access to Riga and Riga Airport. Designed by Latvian architect Janis Vizins, it brings a clear sense of place to a quieter stretch of the route between Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn. The setting feels open and unhurried, with the lake, forest, and shoreline shaping the stay from the moment you arrive. Inside, the rooms keep to a classic style and warm color palette. Each one includes free Wi-Fi, a TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Air conditioning and heating add comfort across seasons, and some spaces extend the stay outdoors with a balcony or terrace. The atmosphere is straightforward and easy to settle into, whether you are here for a short stop or a longer pause by the water. Shared spaces make the pace feel simple. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, and the summer bar offers barbecue dishes. Guests can use the private beach area, sun deck, and terrace, or spend time on the lake with fishing and boat rental. Families have a playground, and wellness facilities add another way to unwind. Parking, guest services, and internet access are also available, keeping the stay practical from arrival to departure. Laguna House places you just off the highway, with Riga within reach and the lakefront right outside. It is a useful base when you want an easy overnight or a quieter stay with water views, outdoor space, and the kind of comfort that lets the setting do the rest.
